Agriculture & Environment Sector

TBCI, with long experienced and competent professionals, targets the agricultural sector as it is one of the vital economic sectors by implementing supporting activities and establishing sister companies and institutions that contribute to the development and sustainability of agricultural and environmental resources such as:

(Production of foundation seeds – flowers- vegetables, whether by cultivation with soil or using hydroponic techniques – establishment of animal fodder production companies – fattening and meat production – fish farming and marketing – establishment of agricultural consulting corporations that contribute to the development and capacity building of civil society organizations either in terms of organizing or technical aspect.).

TBCI will carry out all its professional activities taking into consideration the policies, laws and legislation in place at the local, regional and international levels, and will work in accordance with SustainableDevelopment Goal No. (2) on ending hunger and providing food security and improved nutrition.

The company will make endeavors to achieve the following:

First: agricultural activity

  • To implement climate-smart agricultural practices to mitigate the effects of climate changes on agriculture and its resources.
  • To implement modern agricultural and irrigation techniques, especially hydroponic farming systems that contribute to improving production in quantity and quality and preserve water resources.
  • To preserve agricultural resources, including water, soil, agricultural genetic resources and agricultural ecosystems.
  • To achieve integrated management of agricultural pests.
  • To provide advisory services in the agricultural field and prepare feasibility studies for setting up projects.

Second: environmental activity

TBCI works to implement its activities aimed at achieving sustainable development goals, including Goal No. (15) to protect and restore wild ecosystems, promote their sustainable use, manage forests, control desertification and land degradation and the degradation of biodiversity.

Such activities will be:

  • Apply sound environmental practices that achieve the sustainable use of environmental resources and the preservation of biodiversity.
  • Preserve, enhance and manage water resources in a sustainable manner.
  • Apply environmental practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the effects of climate change on environmental resources.
